- 1 whole free range chicken cleaned
- cup ½large green onion cut into 1 1/2” lengths
- 3 slices ginger
- cup ½shelled and peeled ginko nuts
- water to cover chicken
- salt

Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a clay pot with a tight-fitting lid.
- Place pot in a large steamer and steam over medium-high heat for 4 hours.
- Season to taste with salt before serving.
