Tour Itinerary<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Day 1<\/strong>–\u00a0 Guests will arrive from Parma and others will be picked up at the airport or local train station.\u00a0 Donato, our villa estate wine expert, will host a Vineyard and Olive Grove Tour in the afternoon. The evening starts with an orientation and Prosecco party followed by a dinner buffet. This Fusion Feast will be created by Chefs Mauro and Martin. The wine tasting & pairing will be presented by Donato.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 2-<\/strong> San Gimignano, the famous medieval city, will be our focus. After a guided walking tour, you will be free to visit the cathedral or perhaps choose an art gallery to explore. This is a great place to buy artisan made souvenirs and to taste the award-winning gelato. After, we will have an authentic cooking class with four courses taught by the Chefs and served with local wine.<\/p>\n

Day 3-<\/strong>\u00a0 The city of Florence is on stage. Enjoy a guided walking tour of the historic city center where the Medicis ruled hundreds of years ago. After free time, enjoy a traditional steak Florentine dinner.<\/p>\n

Day 4-<\/strong>\u00a0 Experience a guided walking tour of Lucca with additional time to explore the medieval walled city. Our special dinner is at St. Maria A Monte at Ambra Nera restaurant followed by gelato tasting. Later, Donato will be available for desired tours and tastings.<\/p>\n

Day 5-<\/strong>\u00a0 The Leaning Tower of Pisa and Andrea Bocelli”s Private Museum are on the schedule. In the Piazza Dei Miracoli area we will visit the Cathedral and Baptistery on an educational walking tour. We will later meet some of the Bocelli family at their private museum followed by a wine tasting on site. We then head back to the villa for a chefs’ tasty dinner.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Day 6-<\/strong> First we visit a local cheese farm for a tour and tasting. Next, we have a walking tour of Volterra with free time to explore. Then we will enjoy a Wine Tasting and Pairing Class including 8 regional wines with a Super Tuscan plus olive oil tastings all served with a meal.<\/p>\n

Day 7-<\/strong> We head back to the Middle Ages to Siena for a guided historic walking tour including the Palio Arena and the Grand Cathedral built in the 1200’s. Tonight is our farewell Chefs’ dinner with live music and a presentation from the Chefs.<\/p>\n

Day 8-<\/strong> Following breakfast and check-out, guests will either depart with our arranged transportation, or, continue on the extension trip to Rome.<\/p>\n
